Job Summary

Coordinate new-hire onboarding and manage safety training programs, including safety awareness communications, authorized trainings, and behavior-based safety. Conduct incident investigations, support root-cause analysis, and identify corrective actions. Perform risk assessments and ergonomic assessments, facilitate corrective actions for at-risk tasks, and maintain safety programs and documentation for compliance. Provide technical assistance across plant safety programs, support pre-startup reviews for projects, and assist with environmental activities like stormwater and spill prevention.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate new hire onboarding and run safety awareness training and communications annually and for onboarding.
•Conduct authorized safety training as required.
•Participate in incident investigations, identify corrective actions, and provide training for supervision on incident investigation and root cause analysis.
•Conduct risk assessments and ergonomic assessments; facilitate corrective actions for at-risk tasks and update training programs.
•Maintain safety programs and documentation for compliance, provide technical assistance for safety-related plant programs, and support environmental activities (stormwater and spill prevention).

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent.
•Safety-related degree or certification (OSHA, NSC, ASSE) is a plus.

•Strong written and oral skills.
