Job Summary

Own the day-to-day operations of a building materials distribution business, driving planning, budgeting, scheduling, delivery performance, inventory accuracy, and safety. Lead cycle counting and closeout processes, coordinate full-cycle delivery and damaged-material handling, and monitor service levels for customers. Inspire and coordinate team members, collaborate across departments to improve productivity and processes, and set/maintain performance plans while ensuring OSHA compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage day-to-day business activities including planning, budgeting, scheduling, delivery, inventory accuracy, business metrics, and safety.
•Maintain inventory levels and oversee monthly cycle counting and closeout procedures.
•Oversee delivery personnel compliance with OSHA and GMS policies and conduct weekly/monthly safety reviews with the Safety Manager.
•Identify and coordinate daily activities of team members to drive productivity, teamwork, safety, quality, and job knowledge.
•Collaborate across departments to improve processes, set/maintain performance plans, and ensure service level requirements are met (including preparing lien releases when needed).

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree.
•Minimum of 3 years of related work experience.
