Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead advancements in dry etch technology and essential module development for next-generation NAND dry etch processes.
  • •Act as a technical expert for dry etch process, hardware, and applications development at F10, Singapore.
  • •Define the equipment and dry etch equipment roadmap, working with suppliers to build a mechanism-focused hardware roadmap for upcoming NAND generations.
  • •Resolve the most complex NAND yield, defectivity, and integration challenges using deep expertise in plasma physics, surface interactions, and materials.
  • •Provide mentorship and direction to SMTS/STS engineers, and represent the Singapore NAND dry etch interests at international conferences and cross-site technical forums.

Key Requirements

  • •15-20 years of dry etch process development experience in R&D moving into manufacturing roles, including 10-15 years in memory products such as NAND or DRAM.
  • •Strong knowledge of plasma physics/plasma chemistry/transport or surface phenomena gained through experience and/or coursework.
  • •Experience with dry etch reactors (e.g., RF sources and chemistries) and strong skills in statistical process control and analysis.
  • •Demonstrated leadership in problem solving and experience managing technical projects.
  • •PhD (Chemical/Mechanical/Electrical/Materials Science/Physics/Chemical physics/Chemistry/Semiconductor engineering or related fields) or BS/MS with extensive applicable dry etch background.
