Key Responsibilities

  • •Own platform automation and configuration management engineering, building reusable automation content that runs across large fleets of systems.
  • •Develop and maintain high-quality code for the Cloud Platform team while adhering to Visa security standards and maintainability expectations.
  • •Build APIs, microservices, and reusable platform components that other engineering teams depend on.
  • •Contribute to full-stack platform services, including backend functionality and front-end applications.
  • •Design and implement AI agents and apply prompt engineering/agent orchestration techniques; develop tests and maintain technical documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years building, shipping, and supporting enterprise-grade Java or J2EE applications, ideally with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and microservices, plus a modern frontend framework like Angular or React.
  • •Strong software engineering fundamentals (clean code, OOP design, data structures/algorithms, distributed systems, scalable architecture, SDLC).
  • •Real experience using generative AI coding assistants (e.g., Claude Code CLI, GitHub Copilot, Cline) for coding, review, test generation, and documentation.
  • •Experience designing agent-based architectures and orchestrating agents across multi-step tasks.
  • •Practical exposure to infrastructure as code/configuration management (e.g., Ansible or Terraform) and comfort with CI-CD, unit/integration/component/regression tests, version control, and release automation.
