Key Responsibilities

  • •Screen and/or evaluate students with suspected speech-language impairments.
  • •Provide case management of speech-only caseload.
  • •Ensure all speech and language services are provided as determined by the IEP team, including communicating with parents and teachers to schedule regular attendance and participation by the student; developing progress reports and other required documentation; ensuring accommodations and modifications are available; monitoring SLPAs caseload and services.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology or related field
  • •Three (3) years of speech/language work experience within a public-school setting or equivalent
  • •Ability to work independently, with availability during typical school hours of at least 20 hours per week
  • •Knowledge regarding Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) due process requirements
  • •Ability to conduct and interpret comprehensive speech-language evaluations
