Job Summary

Mechanic responsible for overhaul, repair, and assembly of jet engines and engine modules on a 2nd shift. Work in a hands-on, team-driven environment at an onsite RTX/Pratt & Whitney facility, following approved technical data and work instructions to ensure engines are restored to peak performance, safety, and reliability. Shift: Monday–Thursday, 3:30 pm–2:00 am.

Key Responsibilities

•Work as a member of a team responsible for turbine engine, engine module, or component maintenance in accordance with published work instructions and approved technical data.
•Utilize common hand tools as well as a wide variety of tooling and fixtures to assemble/disassemble and test a jet engine.
•Ensure all phases of assembly/disassembly, as specified by work instructions, comply with required self-inspection or peer inspection of critical processes ensuring adherence to quality standards.
•Monitor and ensure processes meet Safety, Quality and Delivery objectives.
•Collaborate with teammates to maintain compliance with industry standards and site procedures.

Key Requirements

•High School diploma or GED
•Aviation engine overhaul/repair experience
•Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) license or Powerplant (P) certificate
•Hands-on experience in disassembly, inspection, assembly, or turbine engine test operations
•Experience using Microsoft Office applications and SAP
