Key Responsibilities

  • •Support Relationship Managers to structure short- and long-term credit solutions for corporate and other Wholesale Banking customer segments.
  • •Identify and assess risks of proposed financings to ensure proper mitigation and compliance with Mexican banking regulations and HSBC policies.
  • •Prepare credit applications written in English, including analysis of financial statements, industry analysis, and customer projections to assess repayment capacity.
  • •Monitor portfolio compliance of financial and non-financial terms to detect negative trends and ensure completeness of credit files for payments and disbursements.
  • •Interact with customers and coordinate with HSBC back-office teams (e.g., spreading, file monitoring, operations, legal) to manage documentation and communication bridges.

Key Requirements

  • •2 years of credit analysis experience.
  • •Strong ability to analyze financial statements and understand business and industry drivers.
  • •Prepare and assess credit financings, including risk identification and mitigation aligned with Mexican banking regulations and internal HSBC policies.
  • •Strong written and oral communication skills to partner with Relationship Managers and supporting groups.
  • •BS/BA in Economics, Actuarial Science, Financial Management, Public Accounting, Industrial Engineering, or Chemical Engineering; proficient in English.
