Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead client relationships, develop opportunities, and deliver client consultancy services, including underwriting surveys and insurance market reports.
  • •Deliver training seminars/workshops, technical support, and advice to clients.
  • •Collaborate with Aon practice groups and broking colleagues to identify and develop new business opportunities and support placement of insurance programmes.
  • •Represent ANRE in RFPs and sales presentations, and promote ANRE products within the London and international energy insurance engineering community.
  • •Identify and evaluate project risks across the project lifecycle and propose technical solutions, including engineering support for the transition to a low carbon economy.

Key Requirements

  • •Significant experience in power generation (conventional or renewable) or electricity transmission for a technical consultancy and/or as an asset operator.
  • •A university degree in an appropriate subject area, likely Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • •Chartered Engineer and member of an engineering institution, or working towards this.
  • •Ability to produce written reports to quality standards, templates, and deadlines.
  • •Strong interpersonal and presentational skills, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
