Key Responsibilities

  • •Identify equipment and process deviations and perform corrective actions.
  • •Troubleshoot, maintain, and calibrate process equipment including compressors, gas analyzers, control systems, instrument electrical systems, and process control valves.
  • •Work with engineers, technicians, and fabricators to implement fluid and mechanical designs in the field.
  • •Create and maintain operating procedures and run standard operating procedures on the machinery.
  • •Coordinate across multiple disciplines to ensure required resources are available, and create and maintain a mature hardware inventory system including procurement of critical spares.

Key Requirements

  • •Associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering technology and 2+ years working with automated processes in control room operations, plant operations, mechanic/millwright support, or instrumentation/electrical operations.
  • •Or, high school diploma (or equivalency) and 4+ years working in one of: control room operations, plant operations, mechanic/millwright support, or instrumentation/electrical operations.
  • •Basic understanding of process parameters and engineering units for temperature, pressure, flow, and power.
  • •Ability to read and understand P&ID and schematic wiring diagrams.
  • •Familiarity with mechanical equipment and systems including isolation of malfunctions, disassembly of industrial machinery, and bearing/gear/structural component repair or replacement.
