Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver 9-12 science course content in an online environment and manage students’ learning needs.
  • •Monitor student progress in the learning management system and advance students toward established goals.
  • •Teach live synchronous sessions (minimum 15 hours per week) and provide asynchronous instructional support.
  • •Collaborate with other teachers on instruction, resources, interventions, and student data.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •Six (6) months of student teaching experience.
  • •Meet requirements for a licensed teacher under the Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code.
  • •Ohio State Teaching Certification and high school science certification (Integrated Science preferred).
  • •Ability to work independently full-time with a professional home office and travel occasionally as required.
