Key Responsibilities

  • •Engineer automated manufacturing systems using industrial mechanical and fluid systems knowledge.
  • •Model assemblies, fluid routing, and assemblies in CAD software and create detailed manufacturing drawings, schematics, and work instructions.
  • •Specify and down-select components (sensors, valves, pumps, machining hardware, mechanisms) and provide purchase specifications.
  • •Own system integration and activation schedules; serve as technical point of contact for equipment/system vendors.
  • •Write procedures for system activation, manufacturing operations, and preventative maintenance while partnering with Automation and Controls to implement control systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, chemical, aerospace, materials, or manufacturing engineering.
  • •1+ years of hands-on build or design experience (internship, club, and competition team experience qualifies).
  • •Experience integrating/designing/building in high-rate, high-volume production environments (preferred).
  • •Hands-on experience with automated mechanical and machining/assembly systems (preferred).
  • •Experience creating and monitoring statistical process control for key process parameters and quality metrics (preferred).
