Key Responsibilities

•Contribute to HCT’s system-wide strategy and assist with system-wide and faculty/division policies.
•Teach courses aligned to syllabus and program goals, using practical applied instruction for second-language learners.
•Provide ongoing assessment and feedback, evaluate students, update grades, and contribute to question banks/course assessments.
•Serve as a student advisor, support at-risk action plans, mentor students during internships/work placements, and maintain office hours.
•Conduct applied research, participate in conferences and committees, and support continuous improvement of teaching, learning, assessment, and quality assurance.

Key Requirements

•A Ph.D. in a relevant discipline is required where applicable.
•Or a Master’s degree plus a professional certification relevant to the discipline, with 5 years of teaching and industry experience.
•Or a Bachelor’s degree may be considered with extensive industry experience and industry certification as per discipline requirements.
•Minimum 3 years teaching experience in the relevant discipline.
•Minimum 3 years relevant industry experience (preferred), including experience developing curriculum and incorporating educational technology.
