Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and develop scalable, secure and reliable data platforms and pipelines on GCP for real-time and batch processing.
  • •Build and optimize streaming solutions (e.g., Pub/Sub, Dataflow, Kafka) to ensure low latency and accurate delivery.
  • •Develop batch data pipelines using BigQuery, Cloud Storage, Dataproc, Datastage, and orchestration tools like Composer/Airflow.
  • •Apply data-engineering practices across quality, monitoring, testing, observability, security, governance and performance optimization.
  • •Provide technical leadership, mentoring, and contribute to architecture decisions to drive automation, DevOps, CI/CD and continuous improvement.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • •7+ years of professional data-engineering experience across batch and real-time event streaming.
  • •Experience designing cloud security, governance, and regulatory-aware solutions.
  • •Strong technical acumen across cloud computing, CI/CD pipelines, and the software development lifecycle.
  • •Ability to influence and drive change in a complex organizational structure.
