Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan and implement government affairs documentation processes, including analyzing, recording, and maintaining an archiving system for department information.
  • •Develop short-to-mid-term plans and annual business plans for assigned areas, and monitor KPIs with corrective actions.
  • •Manage direct reports by setting objectives, identifying training opportunities, mentoring/coaching, and providing feedback on performance.
  • •Oversee improvement and execution processes for immigration and labor records, ensuring timely resolution and completion of requirements (e.g., resident permits, drivers licenses, visas, CID procedures).
  • •Prepare inputs for departmental budget, monitor financial performance, maintain employee files and documents, and handle internal memos and reference number monitoring.

Key Requirements

  • •In-depth knowledge of labor laws, regulations, and government policies to ensure compliance.
  • •Experience in lobbying, government relations, or public affairs to influence legislative and regulatory outcomes.
  • •Strong communication and advocacy skills for representing the organization to government agencies and stakeholders.
  • •Proficiency in research and analysis to identify legislative/regulatory trends and assess impacts on HR practices and policies.
  • •ERP knowledge with SAP functional skills, plus at least 8 years working experience (5 years relevant; 2 years GCC is a plus).
