Job Summary

Handle a caseload of complex, high-value catastrophic injury claims within the Complex Injury Claims Team, working closely with a Lead Lawyer from case intake to resolution. Analyze medical, liability, and quantum evidence; prepare advice on indemnity, liability, causation, and strategy; and draft pleadings, witness statements, and other legal documents. Liaise with insurer clients and parties involved, and support hearings, mediations, and settlement meetings while building expertise in complex injury litigation.

•Support a Lead Lawyer with a caseload of complex, high-value injury claims.
•Review and analyse medical, liability and quantum evidence to identify key issues, gaps and next steps.
•Prepare chronologies, review records, and help instruct medical experts where required.
•Draft clear advice and legal documents on indemnity, liability, quantum, causation and strategy.
•Liaise with insurer clients and other parties; interview witnesses and draft witness statements; attend conferences, mediations and court hearings as needed.
