Job Summary

Serve as a data privacy and safeguarding subject-matter expert within Allianz Technology, supporting the Lead for Governance & Safeguarding. Act as the single point of contact for the People, Culture & Sustainability function toward the Data Privacy Officer, managing Data Privacy Assessments and Data Subject Rights processes. Advise information owners, coordinate compliance activities (including AI initiatives), and collaborate with DPO/DPP stakeholders to ensure contractual and legal/regulatory compliance.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the data privacy and safeguarding subject matter expert, ensuring global implementation and compliance of Data Privacy & Safeguarding principles for the People, Culture & Sustainability function.
•Manage the Data Privacy Assessments (DPA) process for PCS activities, including Data Register Assessments and Privacy Impact Assessments.
•Coordinate Data Subject Rights requests and advise Information Owners on required actions, incidents, subject access requests, and complaints.
•Ensure AI systems and use case registration comply with relevant privacy, ethical, and regulatory standards, and review/vet corporate rules as required.
•Coordinate compliance and safeguarding activities, including third-party risk management, document management/retention, business continuity support, Fit-Gap Assessments, and the Data Privacy Champions’ Community.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Legal or Economics, or similar.
•Minimum 3 years (corporate) business experience.
•Interest in Data Privacy; experience in Data Privacy (and associated management tools) is highly desirable.
•Fluency in English (written and spoken); other languages (e.g. German) are a bonus.
•Competency in MS Office suite and baseline competency in current AI tooling from a data privacy perspective.
