Job Summary

Join AECOM as a CEI Senior Inspector to lead field surveying, construction inspection, and quality assurance for FDOT-standard roadway and bridge projects in the North Port, FL area. You’ll mentor junior inspectors, manage inspection records, coordinate schedules and punch list activities, and ensure compliance with project specs and safety standards in a on-site role.

•Performs highly complex technical assignments related to field surveying and construction layout, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project specifications
•Verifies engineering computations, inspects construction work, and conducts field testing to maintain quality and compliance standards
•Coordinates, oversees, and provides guidance to junior inspectors to ensure consistent execution of inspection activities
•Establishes and manages project timelines and deadlines to support overall project delivery
•Monitors conformance to quality, performance, specifications, and applicable code requirements through detailed inspection activities

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 35 - 49 hourly

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma plus 4 years of experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
•U.S. Citizenship is required
•Valid US Driver’s License to visit project sites, clients, and other AECOM offices; ability to pass Motor Vehicle Records review
