Key Responsibilities

  • •Inseminate hens by coordinating hen inversion and semen placement; inspect placement and hen handling and rotate between tasks.
  • •Collect semen free of containments; visually inspect semen and record quality scores.
  • •Weigh males, record weights, and adjust males’ feed.
  • •Assist management/leads in evaluating semen quality using microscope/densimeter and replace males with unacceptable semen quality.
