Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and communicate yield issues related to limited wafer yield with fast turnaround and accurate analysis.
  • •Perform daily analysis of inline/param/probe/experiment data to improve yield ramp and quality.
  • •Use semiconductor device physics and semiconductor manufacturing process knowledge to explain and resolve yield issues with statistical/data analysis tools.
  • •Collaborate with Fab process areas and internal Yield Enhancement groups to support fixing yield-related process/tool toggles.
  • •Publish Pareto yield limiters, create multi-area focus teams to solve complex yield problems, and support technology transfer from R&D to production fabs as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or advanced degree in Engineering or Science is required.
  • •Strong analytical, logical, and critical thinking skills to evaluate yield data and solve problems.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across all levels.
  • •Internship or experience in the semiconductor industry is a plus.
  • •Interest in and knowledge of the semiconductor industry and Micron is preferred.
