Job Summary

Own fleet uptime and performance for a global network of phased-array ground station antennas. Operate and scale the Network Operations Center by monitoring site health, interpreting live telemetry, and driving incident response. Lead remote deployment and site checkouts, perform root-cause analysis across subsystems (RF, power, networking, mechanical), and help automate monitoring and response. Partner with product, manufacturing, and test teams to improve reliability and long-term maintainability.

Key Responsibilities

•Own fleet uptime and performance by deploying, maintaining, and troubleshooting antennas and analyzing uptime/performance trends.
•Operate and grow the Network Operations Center: monitor site health, interpret telemetry, send commands/configurations, and enable rapid detection and response.
•Lead hardware deployment campaigns at remote sites, serving as the on-site point of contact from pre-deploy through site checkout.
•Investigate failures with root-cause analysis, implement fixes, and build deep expertise across RF, power, networking, or mechanical subsystems.
•Scale the global contractor ecosystem by sourcing, contracting, and onboarding regional partners and defining maintenance/sparing strategies.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Aerospace, or related engineering discipline.
•Experience building, testing, operating, or diagnosing complex electrical or mechanical systems.
•Ability to work across multiple engineering disciplines and diverse teams.
•Experience operating hardware systems in a live environment, including interpreting telemetry, sending commands, and real-time troubleshooting.
•Comfort writing and running code (e.g., Python, SQL, or other scripting languages).
