Security Operations Analyst- Level 2 (Contractor)

Support Tier 2 intrusion detection for the Monitoring & Vulnerability Analysis team within a CSOC. Assess threats and determine true intrusions vs. false positives and misconfigurations, monitor the security baseline, and follow escalation processes. Develop and update IDS signatures, write technical documentation and SOPs, and perform daily IDS monitoring while producing technical and executive summary reports.
