Job Summary

Load trucks with a front-end loader and cement silo, travel with the gunite crew, and help set up jobsite equipment including unloading an air-driven hopper and rolling hoses. Operate material flow by regulating air from the compressor, support safe jobsite setup/breakdown, and perform pre/post trip inspections and daily maintenance on augers, guns, and hoses. Work with a two-driver crew to ensure efficient, safe concrete placement.

Key Responsibilities

•Load trucks with a front-end loader and cement silo and accompany the gunite crew to job sites.
•Assist with jobsite setup and protection of the environment and surrounding property.
•Regulate air flow/compressor as needed and run sand/cement into the hopper during the pour.
•Maintain and repair augers, guns, and hoses; keep guns clean and perform daily lubrication/chipping/cleaning and greasing.
•Conduct daily pre/post trip inspections, follow DOT regulations, and help clean up and reload after each job.

Key Requirements

•One year commercial driving experience is required.
•Must have a valid Class A or B CDL license.
•Working knowledge of construction industry hazards and safety precautions.
•Working knowledge of construction methods, materials, and tools.
•Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions, and communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
