Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement offline data architecture for large-scale recommendation systems.
  • •Build scalable, stable, high-performance storage and computing systems for production workloads.
  • •Troubleshoot production system issues and implement mechanisms/tools to ensure overall stability.
  • •Develop distributed storage and computing infrastructure for massive, large-scale business systems.
  • •Transform raw structured and unstructured data into meaningful insights using analytics applications and data-oriented programming, including visualization and reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science (or related field) with 3+ years of experience.
  • •Familiarity with big data open source frameworks such as Hadoop, Hive, Flink (and FlinkSQL), Spark, Kafka, HBase, Redis, RocksDB, and ElasticSearch.
  • •Programming experience including C, C++, Java, or Golang.
  • •Effective communication skills with a sense of ownership and drive.
  • •Experience with petabyte-level data processing is a plus.
