Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct and lead specialist training functions and conduct training in support of TSI.
  • •Ensure student welfare during training and monitor performance to achieve training objectives.
  • •Analyse, design, develop, and deliver training courses and advanced training notes aligned to customer needs (time, cost, specification).
  • •Deliver/supervise practical-based OJT and training consolidation; specify, design, and develop effective training aids including computer aided instruction and advanced desktop training systems.
  • •Assess and evaluate students, implement remedial action, maintain classroom procedures, and use TMIS/LMS to keep accurate training records.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree qualified in an engineering discipline, or HND in engineering, or an equivalent qualification including aircraft maintenance traineeship/apprenticeship, or a sciences degree.
  • •Graduate of an advanced military trade school or an EASA Part 147 training establishment; after OJT, at least 5 years practical experience across the full range of aircraft armament systems.
  • •English language ability of band 5.0 IELTS (speaking and listening band scores at 5.0), achieved within the last 2 years if non-native.
  • •Minimum 2 years teaching/instructional experience within the last 6 years, plus experience as a trainer/instructor in an aeronautic/sciences subject area.
  • •Leadership skills to supervise engineering personnel and experience in technical training across company/military/tertiary environments.
