Key Responsibilities

  • •Underwrite new and renewal D&O business to meet regional targets, including global elements.
  • •Underwrite in line with D&O governance frameworks such as underwriting authorities, guidelines, rules, and principles.
  • •Negotiate participation, pricing, and terms & conditions to achieve contract certainty at inception.
  • •Drive cross-functional involvement in the underwriting process, including market management, risk consulting, claims, and operations.
  • •Contribute to the development and execution of regional D&O underwriting strategy and maintain relationships with key producers and clients.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years’ experience as an Underwriter, Broker, or equivalent in the D&O sector.
  • •Ideally CII qualified or working towards qualification.

  • •Established relationships with clients and brokers at peer group level within the market.
  • •Ability to apply knowledge of the legal and regulatory framework and develop consistent, robust contract wordings.
