Job Summary

Senior Pavement Engineer to join our multidisciplinary pavement engineering and construction materials team, working across airports, ports, highways, and related transport infrastructure. You will lead technical tasks, deliver pavement design and materials work with limited supervision, review others’ outputs, contribute to scope, fees and resourcing, support site inspections, and drive improvement of tools and workflows while maintaining client engagement and technical judgment.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead technical tasks or small work packages within larger projects
•Deliver pavement design, assessment, back analysis, and materials related work with limited supervision
•Independently interrogate standards, specifications, and guidance, forming a technical view before seeking peer input where appropriate
•Review and check technical work produced by Engineers and other Senior Engineers
•Provide technical input to scope definition, fee estimates, and resourcing discussions

Key Requirements

•An engineering related degree or equivalent or demonstrable progress towards Chartership is highly valued
•Established professional experience in pavement engineering and construction materials (e.g. asphalt, aggregates, concrete hydraulically bound materials, soils) across airports, ports, highways or related infrastructure
•Ability to operate independently at Senior Engineer level with demonstrated capability
•Comfortable engaging in technical discussions with clients and project teams
•Experience reviewing and checking technical work and providing input to scope definition, fee estimates, and resourcing discussions
