Key Responsibilities

  • •Serve as a senior technical resource for the Americas ASR team, providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers, and promoting incident response and application security best practices.
  • •Own technical resolution of complex customer issues, escalations, and critical incidents with timely communication and root-cause analysis.
  • •Collaborate with customers and internal teams (Services, Customer Success, Threat Research, Product Management, Product Development, Engineering) to resolve high-impact issues and drive improvements.
  • •Analyze customer traffic, logs, attack trends, alerts, and case history to identify risks and strengthen application security posture.
  • •Design and implement custom security policies and conduct forensic analysis to detect, prevent, and mitigate attacks; document findings and develop automation to improve ASR workflow efficiency.

Key Requirements

  • •Minimum 4-year bachelor’s degree in a technology field, plus 6 years of experience in application/network security in a customer-facing role, including at least 3 years in security engineering/threat mitigation (or 4 years with a master’s and at least 2 years in security engineering/threat mitigation).
  • •Demonstrated customer-facing security engineering/threat mitigation experience.
  • •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with self-learning ability and passion for customer advocacy.
  • •Experience with Internet security and networking technologies such as TCP/IP, HTTP, SSL/TLS, proxies, firewalls, OWASP Top 10, and OWASP Automated Threats to Web Applications.
  • •Hands-on experience mitigating BOT attacks and addressing web application vulnerabilities/attack techniques such as SQLi, XSS, and OWASP Top 10.
