Job Summary

Lead cost management services for a portfolio of large-scale data center construction projects across Northern Virginia. You’ll manage client relationships and internal teams, oversee quantity surveying, cost control, and change management, and report commercial and cost status. Partner with contractors, owners, and stakeholders to drive best practices, monitor financial performance and KPIs, and support audits, proposals, and business development activities.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead cost management service delivery across multiple active data center construction programs.
•Manage quantity surveying, cost control, and change management throughout the project lifecycle.
•Serve as the primary client-facing contact for commercial and cost status reporting.
•Track financial performance (margins, forecasting, resource planning) and develop risk mitigation strategies using KPIs and internal controls.
•Lead team direction, conduct performance reviews, mentor team members, and support audits, proposals, and RFP responses.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related field.
•8+ years of experience in cost management within large-scale construction.
•Proven experience leading teams and managing complex, multi-project programs.
•Experience in data center or mission-critical construction strongly preferred.
•SME in Quantity Surveying with RICS certification (or equivalent) strongly preferred.
