Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead and manage backend engineering teams building Java 17/Spring Boot microservices and APIs.
  • •Drive end-to-end backend delivery across the SDLC, including production support.
  • •Oversee design and development of RESTful APIs and event-driven services (Kafka) with resiliency patterns.
  • •Ensure engineering standards for secure coding, API design, and enterprise frameworks; manage sprint execution and release planning.
  • •Improve operational maturity and delivery excellence using CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and incident/reliability engineering practices.

  • •Proven experience leading backend engineering teams delivering high-scale, distributed systems.
  • •Strong expertise in Java 17 and Spring Boot with deep knowledge of the enterprise Java ecosystem.
  • •Deep understanding of microservices architecture, REST APIs, and event-driven systems (Kafka or equivalent).
  • •Strong experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker), and Kubernetes.
  • •Knowledge of data persistence and enterprise security practices, including RDBMS/NoSQL and OAuth2, JWT, and TLS.
