Key Responsibilities

  • •Supervise, coach, and develop Cash Application Processors; set productivity/accuracy/KPI expectations and conduct performance reviews.
  • •Oversee daily cash posting and application activities, balancing priorities and ensuring high-volume processing meets quality and control standards.
  • •Perform daily reconciliation of cash postings to bank reports and lockbox files; investigate unidentified payments to reduce unapplied cash and exceptions.
  • •Monitor KPIs such as unapplied cash, error rates, and variance processing; create leadership reporting and analyze recurring discrepancies.
  • •Ensure internal controls and compliance for audit readiness, identifying control gaps and partnering with internal/external auditors as needed.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent experience, with 5+ years of progressive Accounts Receivable or Cash Application experience.
  • •Supervise, coach, and develop a team; 1-3 years in a supervisory or team lead role (preferred).
  • •Experience in a Shared Services or centralized finance operations environment (strongly preferred).
  • •Strong understanding of financial/accounting principles impacting A/R and A/P across P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, and treasury management.
  • •Proficiency with Oracle, SAP, or similar systems, and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups, trend analysis).
