Key Responsibilities

  • •Safely operate major shop tools to produce prototype and production parts, and perform modifications and repairs.
  • •Use work orders, blueprints, sketches, and instructions to determine machining processes, tooling, and fixtures.
  • •Plan and perform complex machine set-ups; apply trigonometry to calculate angles needed for accurate machining.
  • •Perform machining and/or assembly tasks using standard machine shop equipment and power tools.
  • •Maintain a clean, safe work area and handle tools, equipment, and stock properly while serving internal customers and coordinating work as a team lead.

Salary: USD 20 - 27.5 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or GED and 7–10 years of relevant experience.
  • •Proficiency operating major shop tools including CNC router, laser, water jet, sheet metal brake, Teflon press, manual mill, manual lathe, and forklifts/cranes.
  • •Ability to use work orders, blueprints, sketches, and written/verbal instructions to plan machining processes, tooling, and fixtures.
  • •Knowledge of trigonometry to calculate angles for set-ups and machining.
  • •Ability to perform moderately to complex machine set-ups, nest parts to reduce waste, and follow safety and cleanliness requirements.
