Job Summary

Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles, identify needs, and recommend retail consumer and small business solutions. Proactively reach out using CAMP and marketing tools, set appointments for periodic financial reviews, and focus on cross-selling and outside sales activities. Partner with business teams such as Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial, and Investment to refer customers and deliver holistic outcomes, while following risk and ethical policies and supporting teller and financial center operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Maintain in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products/services and recommend solutions using the value proposition.
•Utilize CAMP and approved marketing tools to proactively reach out and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities such as presentations, business sales calls, and community financial literacy events.
•Process teller transactions and participate in consumer loan and bankcard processes, including owning sourced loans through closing.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Sales-oriented experience preferred, with demonstrated comfort acquiring new consumer households and/or cross-selling to existing customers.
•Ability to understand advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Ability to represent Fifth Third Bank professionally through appearance and verbal/written communication.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration required at time of employment through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS).
