Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop design packages associated with linear pipelines for the oil and gas industry (including terminals) as directed by the project engineer.
  • •Follow applicable design/drafting standards and ensure technical quality of developed designs.
  • •Prepare engineering plans, profiles, sections, and details for design, tender, construction, and as-built drawing sets for pipelines and related infrastructure.
  • •Compile and model 3D surfaces representing engineering features such as graded terrain, waterways, wetlands, roads, railroads, and more.
  • •Work with engineering and environmental staff; produce maps from topographic/survey data, research public data, and convert it into Civil 3D CAD compatible files.

Key Requirements

  • •At least 5 years of field-related work experience using AutoCAD, Land Development, and/or Civil 3D.
  • •Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • •Knowledge of oil and gas pipeline or linear utility system design.
  • •Advanced skills in core technical areas of related software applications.
  • •Detail-oriented, highly organized, and able to prioritize across multiple projects with strong communication skills.
