Job Summary

Design and implement scalable, secure Azure-based data architectures for enterprise data and analytics initiatives. Own end-to-end solutions using Azure Data Services (Data Factory, Synapse, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB, Databricks) to deliver batch and real-time processing. Define governance, security, and compliance standards, integrate structured and unstructured data, and drive adoption of GenAI capabilities (Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Services, Fabric AI). Mentor teams and support platform tuning and operations.

Key Responsibilities

•Design and implement end-to-end data architecture using Azure Data Services such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL, and Databricks.
•Architect and optimize data warehousing, data mesh, and data lake solutions for batch and real-time processing.
•Define and enforce data governance, security, and compliance standards aligned with enterprise policies.
•Integrate data across structured, semi-structured, and unstructured sources and collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
•Lead performance tuning, monitoring, operational support, and adoption of AI/ML and Generative AI capabilities for predictive and generative use cases, while mentoring data engineers and analysts.

Key Requirements

•8+ years of experience in data engineering/data architecture roles.
•Proven Azure Data Services experience including Azure Data Factory, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure SQL/SQL Managed Instance, Cosmos DB, and Azure Databricks or PySpark.
•Strong data warehousing knowledge (e.g., star schema, dimensional modeling, partitioning/indexing, slowly changing dimensions).
•Hands-on data lake architecture including schema evolution and Delta Lake.
•Experience integrating AI/ML and Generative AI models (e.g., OpenAI/Azure ML/LangChain) and supporting real-time processing with Kafka or Azure Event Hub.
