Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and execute field programs including drilling, test pitting, in situ testing, and construction monitoring.
•Analyze geotechnical data to develop practical and reliable design recommendations.
•Prepare clear, defensible technical reports and supporting documentation.
•Contribute geotechnical expertise to multidisciplinary teams on impactful infrastructure projects.
•Mentor junior staff in field practices, analysis methods, and safety standards.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Civil Engineering with a geotechnical focus.
•Registered, or eligible for registration, as a P.Eng. with Engineers Yukon (or transferable from another Canadian regulator).
•Minimum five (5) years of experience as a Geotechnical or Geological Engineer.
•Valid Canadian driver’s license and willingness to work on project sites as required.
•Solid intermediate-level consulting experience in geotechnical engineering; Familiarity with geotechnical software such as GeoStudio, Rocscience, or similar tools.
