Key Responsibilities

  • •Utilise, internalise and develop preclinical models to discover and characterise new functional ingredients impacting human and companion animal health.
  • •Develop and execute research project plans, and analyse and interpret results using appropriate tools and statistics.
  • •Prepare scientific publications, protocols, technical project reports, and presentations for stakeholders.
  • •Provide scientific and technological support for laboratory projects as assigned/needed.
  • •Collaborate cross-functionally and participate in continuous learning and idea generation to drive innovation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelors or Masters degree (or equivalent) in a biomedical sciences field; PhD desirable.
  • •Full professional proficiency in English and German.
  • •Hands-on proficiency in anaerobic bacterial culture, probiotic/postbiotic characterisation, and traditional microbiology techniques.
  • •Strong molecular biology experience and good experimental design with accurate record keeping.
  • •Ability to prepare professional scientific reports and communicate effectively in written and oral formats.
