Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and manage all electrical studies for new installations to validate technical viability within the interconnected system.
  • •Obtain regulatory approvals and ensure proper operation of installations for commercial enablement.
  • •Develop detailed engineering for interior substation systems: AC/DC distribution boards, MV cells, auxiliary transformers, battery systems and emergency power.
  • •Ensure reliability of auxiliary systems as the basis for protection and control functionality.
  • •Coordinate with Control specialists to integrate power systems with protection and control equipment; evaluate supplier offers and review documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •More than 8 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in engineering auxiliary systems for substations.
  • •Knowledge of AC and DC distribution systems in high/extra high voltage substations.
  • •Experience in design of battery systems and battery chargers for substations.
  • •Knowledge of medium voltage cells and distribution boards.
  • •Proficiency with IEC standards applicable to auxiliary substation systems.
