Job Summary

Lead and mentor a team responsible for daily corporate actions and related services in a high-volume wealth operations environment. Oversee performance, allocate resources, ensure accuracy and compliance, and drive process improvements to enhance customer service and operational efficiency within global securities functions.

Key Responsibilities

•Supervise a team of subordinates running daily corporate actions tasks to meet SLA and SOS; provide training, coaching, and performance appraisals to staff.
•Assist the Assistant Manager in overseeing daily corporate actions tasks; approve and execute instructions on schedule; allocate resources to handle fluctuating volumes.
•Monitor the offshore team’s performance; provide guidance and connect offshore and local teams to execute daily tasks effectively; participate in resource planning for volume surges.
•Maintain accurate customer service records for corporate actions and contribute to new workflow planning; ensure SOS requirements are followed and report variances to superiors.
•Safeguard the bank from financial and reputational risk by complying with system controls and external requests; collaborate with subordinates to meet compliance and management control requirements.

Key Requirements

•Must have strong people leadership experience with training, coaching and performance appraisal of staff.
•Proven ability to oversee daily corporate actions tasks with effective instruction and issue resolution.
•Solid understanding of securities markets and derivatives; experience in a security operations environment is preferred.
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to handle client inquiries and escalate issues appropriately.
•Proficiency in using MS Excel and Word; familiarity with Bloomberg, Euclid, iFAS, and CMT is an advantage.
