Job Summary

Provide high-touch client support and execute day-to-day operational functions for mortgage warehouse loans within Huntington’s Corporate Mortgage Finance group. Handle loan activities across fundings, construction loan processing, collateral processing and aging, loan aging surveillance, mark-to-market, hedge monitoring, settlements, and post-funding QC. Analyze and approve complex transaction requests, manage queues to meet SLAs, escalate delays and nonstandard issues, and support training, projects, and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle loan activities for the warehouse lending business, including fundings, construction loan processing, collateral processing/aging, loan aging surveillance, mark-to-market, hedge monitoring, settlements, and post-funding QC.
•Provide high-touch client support by building and maintaining strong relationships via phone, email, and virtual meetings, especially for larger and/or complex relationships.
•Analyze and approve complex transaction requests related to fundings, collateral, and settlements within delegated authority and Huntington policy, including some loan exception authority.
•Ensure all queues, reports, and assignments are completed within procedure timeframes and escalate delays to prevent SLA misses.
•Collaborate with a team lead or manager to resolve nonstandard scenarios, provide training to colleagues on processes/procedures, and support business continuity during disaster/outage events.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution (additional experience may substitute).
•Minimum 5 years of relevant mortgage operations experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
•Proficient written and verbal communication skills.
•Proficient experience with Microsoft Office Suite.
•Proven communication and collaboration skills and excellent organizational skills.
