Job Summary

Support the execution of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) practices across project sites by monitoring HSE activities against the Project HSE plan and HSEMS requirements. Assist with emergency response and evacuation planning, conduct daily toolbox talks and training, track hazards and corrective actions, and ensure risk assessments, inductions, and inspections are completed and documented. Provide regular HSE performance reporting and support incident reporting and resolution.

Key Responsibilities

•Monitor project HSE activities to ensure requirements are met per the Project HSE plan and HSEMS.
•Support emergency response and evacuation planning, and conduct daily toolbox talks (TBT) and monthly employee orientations on accident reporting and emergencies.
•Identify hazards and unsafe conditions daily, raise observation reports, and ensure corrective measures are recorded and communicated.
•Ensure inductions, risk assessments, and inspections are completed and logged, including site induction, visitor/supplier induction, equipment inspections, and fire extinguisher checks.
•Provide daily/weekly/monthly HSE performance reporting and support incident reporting and resolution in line with company and IMS policies.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of working experience and 3 years of relevant working experience.
•Comprehensive understanding of health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards to ensure compliance with local laws.
•Proficiency in conducting risk assessments and hazard analyses and developing mitigation strategies.
•Ability to investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses and recommend corrective actions.
•ERP knowledge with preferably SAP functional skills; Diploma in NEBOSH or related technical certificates; Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Engineering.
