Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Support environmental tasks to develop technical, social, and ethical skills.
  • •Learn basic principles of Geology and/or Environmental Science.
  • •Assist with project research, field work, data analysis, and reporting.
  • •Collect and maintain project documentation, and help prepare project drawings and maps.
  • •Complete training on assigned tasks and exercise responsible decision-making while adhering to WSP policies; occasional travel may be required.

Key Requirements

  • •Actively enrolled in an accredited Geology, Environmental Science, or related Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2027 or later.
  • •18 years or older and demonstrated interest in Geology/Environmental Science with a desire to advance skills related to WSP’s work.
  • •Competent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate with engineering and non-engineering audiences.
  • •Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to complete projects.
  • •Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, and technology/tools, plus ability to follow workplace safety and policies.
