Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop detailed inspection plans for aerospace components and assemblies to ensure compliance with customer requirements, engineering specifications, and regulatory standards.
  • •Collaborate with design and engineering teams to define inspection methods and criteria for new parts, assemblies, and systems.
  • •Create and maintain inspection reports, documentation, and traceable records, including first article inspections (FAI), in-process inspections, and final inspections.
  • •Program CMM or perform gear programming for in-process inspection and final inspection.
  • •Investigate quality issues and inspection failures and lead process improvement initiatives using root-cause methods such as 8D, FMEA, and Fishbone diagrams.

Key Requirements

  • •Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience.
  • •Minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.
  • •Strong knowledge of engineering drawings, tolerances, and GD&T.
  • •Proficiency using inspection tools and measurement equipment such as CMM, calipers, and micrometers.
  • •Working knowledge of a Quality Management System meeting AS9100, AS9102, and AS13100 requirements.
