Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the Japan Ecosystem strategy across multiple routes to market, driving execution in Japan with alignment between Japan, APAC and Global Stakeholders
  • •Drive end-to-end Japan ecosystem performance by managing both immediate quarterly execution and out-quarter delivery, consistently hitting targets for revenue forecasts, pipeline contribution, and key strategic initiatives
  • •Lead and manage multiple partner driven business development initiatives that are consistent with Red Hat's overall strategy
  • •Work closely with Practice Leads and their account client partners; initiate joint account planning and sales implementation with the Red Hat Field Sales team
  • •Develop and carry out specific plans for the Japan regional and industry vertical sales managers and associated industry independent software vendors (ISVs)
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •10+ years of experience leading high performing Sales and Channel teams.
  • •10+ years of relevant sales and business development experience with reseller/distribution, cloud, OEM, System Integrator partners
  • •7+ years of working knowledge and experience with cloud software, GSI, or Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) vendors and their business models
  • •Extensive experience developing and managing partnerships for the purpose of market seeding and revenue generation
  • •Executive presence and communication skills in English and Japanese
