Job Summary

Support pre-planned and reactive maintenance in Ocado’s automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Erith. Carry out safe, timely maintenance on production equipment, diagnose breakdowns, and complete repairs where possible. Maintain accurate engineering records and keep the Computerised Maintenance Management System updated for Engineering KPIs, while helping analyze failures and improve Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) performance. Work a days-based shift pattern and be comfortable working at height.

Key Responsibilities

•Carry out maintenance on production equipment in an accurate, timely, and safe manner.
•Diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolve issues, and action repairs where possible.
•Update engineering records and support root-cause identification of failures, including confirmation of spares and consumables.
•Ensure the Computerised Maintenance Management System is updated with accurate data to meet Engineering KPIs.
•Collaborate with the Engineering team to analyse failures and improve Mechanical Handling Equipment (MHE) performance.

Key Requirements

•A formal engineering related qualification would be advantageous.
