Job Summary

Join the Enterprise Data Warehouse team as a technical lead shaping AMD’s data platform. You’ll architect and optimize Snowflake solutions, build ETL/ELT pipelines and integrations with Python, and drive AI-powered analytics using Microsoft Fabric and Snowflake Cortex. Partner cross-functionally to deliver data products, mentor engineers, and enforce engineering best practices, coding standards, and governance while troubleshooting production issues and bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities

•Serve as a technical lead for the Enterprise Data Warehouse team, providing strategic direction and hands-on expertise for scalable data solutions.
•Mentor and coach junior and mid-level engineers, fostering continuous learning and technical excellence.
•Architect and optimize Snowflake data warehouse solutions for performance, cost-efficiency, and scalability.
•Drive adoption and implementation of AI-powered data solutions using Microsoft Fabric or similar modern data platforms.
•Develop and optimize complex data pipelines and integrations using Python and REST APIs, including troubleshooting production incidents and performance bottlenecks.

Key Requirements

•12+ years of progressive experience in IT/data engineering or related technical roles.
•5+ years hands-on with Snowflake, including data modeling, performance tuning, and administration.
•Proven Python development experience, including scripting, automation, and REST API integration.
•Experience with Snowflake Cortex analytics or similar AI/ML capabilities in a data platform.
•Experience with AI/data solutions using Microsoft Fabric, Azure Synapse, Databricks, or comparable platforms; plus leadership mentoring engineers and leading technical initiatives.
