Job Summary

Build customer relationships and drive sales of deposits, loans, and fee-based services as a Retail Personal Banker II. Complete a 4–8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in Operations and Sales & Service, then earn certification. Use a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment, leverage CAMP and marketing tools to set appointments, meet production goals, cross-sell, and partner with Business Partners to deliver holistic financial solutions while following risk and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Use the consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify current and future financial needs.
•Recommend appropriate solutions based on in-depth knowledge of retail consumer and small business products and services.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers and set appointments for periodic financial reviews.
•Cross-sell to existing customers and participate in outside sales activities, including community financial literacy events and business sales calls as directed.
•Establish relationships with business partners (Mortgage, Small Business, Commercial and Investment) and guide CSRs on sales and referral processes.

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry is preferred.
•Demonstrated ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and cross-sell to existing customers.
•Ability to demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions to analyze credit and financial information.
•Must complete S.A.F.E. Act registration through the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) at the time of employment.
