Job Summary

Own TikTok Shop communications for Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands within the Global Communications team. You’ll develop audience-specific narratives, manage PR and campaign projects end to end, and lead day-to-day media engagement. Build relationships with national and trade media, review German-language external materials for messaging and reputational risk, track sentiment and market trends, and prepare spokespeople for interviews, briefings, and events. Partner cross-functionally to surface risks early and support issue management.

Key Responsibilities

•Own TikTok Shop communications support for Germany, Austria, and the Netherlands as a day-to-day partner to operations and business teams.
•Develop audience-specific narratives and messaging aligned to market context and business priorities across the three markets.
•Manage communications projects from planning through execution, including product moments, partnership announcements, seasonal campaigns, and issue response.
•Build and maintain relationships with national, business, and trade media; handle routine inbound requests and support proactive media engagement.
•Track media sentiment and market trends relevant to e-commerce, translate insights into guidance for internal teams, and prepare spokespeople for interviews, briefings, and events.

Key Requirements

•Fluent in German and English with strong written and verbal communication skills.
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
•5+ years in communications, corporate affairs, PR, media relations, public affairs, or a related field.
•Strong understanding of the German media landscape, including press relationship management and handling inbound media requests.
•Proven ability to write high-quality messaging and materials for different audiences with limited guidance.
