Key Responsibilities

  • •Receive repair orders, perform work outlined on repair orders, and document work performed.
  • •Diagnose malfunctions, determine if additional safety/service work is required, and communicate updates to the service advisor.
  • •Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts and save/tag parts when required under warranty or request.
  • •Road-test vehicles when required and keep customers’ cars clean; maintain a neat shop area and account for dealership-owned tools.
  • •Supervise assigned apprentice technicians, attend factory training classes, and stay current with factory technical bulletins while following safety policies and reporting accidents.
