Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide advanced hands-on technical support across instrumentation, electrical, and PLC/control systems and diagnose complex equipment/control issues.
  • •Serve as the primary I&E technical interface to Maintenance Planning and Scheduling, reviewing job scopes, work plans, and task lists for readiness, accuracy, and safety.
  • •Maintain preventive maintenance and inspection programs for I&E assets, including keeping I&E maintenance data quality in SAP.
  • •Represent Maintenance as the I&E technical resource for capital projects and turnarounds, supporting equipment selection, installation practices, testing, commissioning, and startup.
  • •Coordinate loop checks, functional testing, interlock verification, and safety system testing; participate in hazard/risk activities, PHA/MOC, incident investigations, and failure analysis.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma or Associate degree, plus significant industrial manufacturing experience (e.g., petrochemical, chemical, refining, or similar).
  • •Hands-on experience across instrumentation, electrical systems, and PLC-based controls.
  • •Ability to bridge field execution with engineering, planning, and operations.
  • •Strong working knowledge of industrial instrumentation, electrical power/motor control systems, and PLC-based controls.
  • •Ability to read and interpret P&IDs, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, logic diagrams, and one-line drawings.
