Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform assignments that apply standard engineering techniques, procedures, and criteria while building judgment and understanding of professional/ethical responsibilities.
  • •Conduct engineering design and analysis using spreadsheets and programming tools.
  • •Create designs, calculations, sketches, diagrams, schematic drawings, construction specifications, and working drawings using ArcGIS and AutoCAD Civil 3D.
  • •Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses including frequency storm and probable maximum precipitation, plus design of channels, culverts, bridges, and flood mapping.
  • •Prepare reservoir and pond designs, coordinate permit preparation, and track budgets/schedules while writing reports and calculation packages with documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a closely related field and 4 years of relevant experience (or demonstrated equivalency).
  • •Professional Engineering (PE) License.
  • •Experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using HEC-HMS and HEC-RAS.
  • •Design experience using AutoCAD Civil 3D.
